Responsibilities :

The Program Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for students studying abroad.

Program & Event Coordination

  • Plan and organize cultural events, excursions, and orientations tailored to each group.
  • Prepare itineraries for new and ongoing programs.
  • Assist in budget creation and tracking with managers.

Student Support & Administration

  • Collect and translate student forms in collaboration with the Housing Coordinator.
  • Prepare Welcome Packets, transportation passes, and orientation materials.
  • Greet students upon arrival at Paris airports and coordinate their housing transfers.
  • Provide in-office support, handling emails and phone calls.
  • Address student concerns and communicate effectively with the team.

Activity & Excursion Management

  • Organize and track sign-ups and attendance for activities.
  • Lead weekend excursions and cultural activities in Paris and across France.
  • Share information on local cultural events relevant to students.

Content & Communication

  • Create presentations and update housing and program files.
  • Develop social media content and manage office announcements (photos, videos, digital displays).
  • Maintain and update the local provider database (vendors, reservations, student records).

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong knowledge of Paris and French culture.

 

Other :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Forms, and social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools for digital communication.

Conditions :

  • Contract Type: Fixed-term (CDD), full-time (39 hours per week)
  • Start Date: Position available immediately
  • Salary: Based on experience
  • Some travel required for excursions and field trips within France and Europe
