Position Overview

Paris College of Art is committed to helping students from all over the world find academic and personal success. The Admissions Counselor for International Programs reports to the Executive Director of Admissions and Communications.

 

General Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

Develop and carry out recruitment strategy to increase student enrollment in all programs

  • Represent PCA at recruitment events, both in-person and online
  • Seek out, develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors and educational agencies to expand international recruitment network

Accompany prospective students from inquiry to deposit stage to ensure maximum enrollment

  • Conduct school tours
  • Lead information sessions
  • Review portfolios
  • Conduct candidate interviews
  • Review candidate files and participate in admissions decision meetings
  • Assist in the organization and implementation on-campus events.

Oversea office coordination

  • Hire, train, and oversee student support staff for school tours, student ambassadors, and student Discord monitors
  • Manage and prepare new student files for transfer to the Register
  • Liaise with academic staff and organize new student French and English Testing
  • Assist in the development of communications materials for Admissions and Summer
  • Oversee the management of Provider contacts and review new Provider offers

Skills :

  • Eligible to work in France (EU Nationality or VISA/Titre de séjour with work authorization)
  • An interest in working on a team to promote Paris College of Art.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French preferred.
  • Knowledge of the American educational system.
  • Solid computer skills including experience with Word and Excel and database systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree essential
  • Education and/or practical experience in art & design.

Other :

  • Full-time permanent contract (CDI), Monday to Friday (possible events on weekends, compensatory time off provided);
  • Salary based on experience;
  • Occasional remote work allowed;
  • Meal vouchers covered at 60% by the company;
  • Health insurance covered at 50% by the company;
  • 50% reimbursement of the legal Pass Navigo/Vélib;
  • Access to the American Library in Paris;
  • Opportunity to attend 2 courses per semester free of charge;
  • 6 weeks of paid vacation (2 weeks in summer and 2 weeks during Christmas).

Conditions :

  • Possible events on weekends, compensatory time off provided ;
  • Travel worldwide (the exact zone will be defined with the manager)
