CEA students complete academically rigorous courses that integrate Active Learning into the curriculum and intercultural learning into the program objectives.

Missions et activités du poste / responsabilité/Job Responsibilities:

This staff member assists in all aspects of programming in our Student Life department, from the preparation and execution of student arrivals, orientation, excursions to the development and facilitation of activities designed to engage our students with their host culture. The Program Advisor will also assist with the development and organization of the International Internship program, taking on the task of sourcing and placing internship students in local internship placements. While the majority of duties will relate to Student Life and the Internship Program, the incumbent will also asked to occasionally participate in student housing tasks as well as be well versed in the local academic culture. A deep local knowledge of Paris will be paramount for this position.

Compétences et qualités requises/Required Skills:

Minimum Qualifications
• Fluency in spoken and written English and French.
• Must be authorized to work in relevant local country.
• Previous experience working in customer service.
• Previous experience interacting with U.S. college students.
• Previous study abroad experience.
• Solid computer abilities (Microsoft Office and Internet proficiency).
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Must be enthusiastic about studying abroad and international education.
• Great communication skills and must be a team player.

Formation exigée/Required Qualifications

• University Degree (equivalent to Bachelor's), Master's preferred.

Conditions de travail (déplacements, permanence etc.)/Work Conditions (Travel, On-call, etc.):

Work environment: CEA office Paris. Required travel within Paris city limits and on selected excursion and activity locations within Western Europe.
